Sue founded Across the Board in 2004 and has more than 38 years experience in public practice. Sue provides consultation and advice in the areas of taxation at all levels and complexities; business management, establishment and sale; client group restructures; forecasting, budgeting and planning. As a SMSF Accredited Specialist and SMSF Approved Auditor Sue gives valuable assistance to her SMSF clients advising on the ever changing taxation laws that affect SMSF’s.
Sue is supported by a team of dedicated staff with more than 50 years combined experience. Across the Board’s team members are tertiary and degree qualified. Their skills and areas of expertise blend well to make a wide range of quality services available to clients.
Team Members – Accountants
Gwen has gained a range of experience and accounting skills over her many years working in Public Practice. Like Carol, Gwen has a “can do” approach to her work and clients regularly comment on her ability to communicate with them effectively across many levels of accounting and taxation queries.
Carol brings years of experience in accounting and business services to the practice and utilises these skills in supporting clients from varying industry backgrounds. Carol has extensive experience in MYOB accounting software and is available to assist clients in the setup, customisation and training of software and business record keeping requirements.
Clooney who has recently joined us has more than 10 years’ experience in public practice and has outstanding attention to detail in all aspects of accounting and financial presentation. He has vast experience in multiple software packages including Xero and MYOB, is motivated to problem-solve in an efficient and cost effective manner and together with his in-depth taxation knowledge of small business is a welcome addition to our team.
Support Team – Reception and Administration
Elaine is our ever pleasant front of office manager and receptionist offering valuable support to the accountancy staff and clients alike with her “can do” attitude. Nothing is too much trouble for Elaine and her positive results oriented focus is genuinely appreciated by all.
Kaylene has joined our team in 2017 as a bookkeeper/administration assistant. Kaylene provides a regular service of bookkeeping to a variety of our clients giving them the freedom to manage and administer their business without the hassle of recordkeeping and paper shuffling. Kaylene is also a support staff member to Elaine our front of office manager and receptionist.
Malani is our internal administration staff member responsible for ensuring we keep our own records up to date!!. She is also quite effective as a support to other staff members assisting with client data entry and bookkeeping as required.
